Agronomist/Animal Health
A Southlander Troy was brought up with a background in deer/sheep/beef farming just outside of Lumsden.
While living in our most southern district he also worked on other properties gaining experience learning the fundamentals of agriculture.
After a time in Dunedin he embarked on the traditional OE rite of passage and enjoyed a look around.
On returning to New Zealand with his future wife they located in northern Hawkes Bay where he started a job with Farmlands, sparking his trademark high standards of customer service in the sector.
Making a move to rural suppliers Wrightson Troy then followed his passion for animal health holding a store management role at Eastland Vets in Gisborne for 7 years.
In 2007 he made a return to PGG Wrightson firstly as a Store Manager before embarking on the change to a Senior Technical Field Representative transferring to Central Otago in 2015.
Troy and his family enjoy life in Alexandra and when not at work he loves to make the most of the region pursuing hunting/fishing/diving in addition to following the sporting interests of his three children.
Excited by the new challenge of working with the team at Agrispray, he strives to give sound and unbiased ideas to clients for farming practices that will help them achieve their goals.
Whether that is with seed and agrichemical agronomic solutions, or animal health and nutritional support. Troy is skilled to advise on a manner of farming solutions and is looking forward to working with clients both old and new.
